Welcome to an official website of Folk Architecture Museum in Sanok – the biggest open-air museum in Poland.

Visiting our Ethnographic Park you will feel this unique climate of truly magical place which induces to reflection about time and passing. The Open Air Museum in Sanok will recall forgotten events and associations, which are inherent in rings of omnipresent aged timber. Every sense will allow for contact with cultural variety of this border region – region where turbulent history mixes with the present, and cultural heritage of Byzantine East with Latin heritage of the West.

Walking about this unique museum of village, you can bring together cognitive-educational values with true relaxation and rest in the Carpathian open which charms with beauty at any time of year. For some people this unique and varied cultural and natural abundance is creative, whereas for others it is soothing, healing and esthetic, in short beautiful and unforgettable.

I hope that while browsing through this website you will decide to make a historical trip to The Ethnographic Park in Sanok either as a stop or destination during your rest.  I can assure you that this trip will be full of pleasing impressions.

Feel invited the whole year round!
